I began my somatic journey with Alexander Technique in my early 20s (introduced by my grandfather-thank you Bill!). I offer Occupational Therapy sessions in Alexander Technique, Developmental Movement, m.a.c. Pilates for Kids and sensory-motor practices for children and their families. Additional approaches consist of ergonomics and mindfulness and meditation.

I work with many ages, levels and backgrounds, including early intervention, school-age children and young adults. I taught Movement for Actors at colleges/universities and presented Developmental Movement in workshops for occupational therapists at sensory clinics. In 2025, I began a collaboration with Western Connecticut Youth Orchestra to introduce Alexander Technique to youth musicians at the Charles Ives Music Festival.

Sessions are holistic and family/community centered. They take place in the clinic, home, studio, online, a walk on the sidewalk into town, on a hike, in the park or playground in play. Somatic Pediatrics serves children and families in Ridgefield, Wilton, Danbury, New Canaan and surrounding areas in Fairfield County.
