Birth Keeper & Doula
Yakesha Llewellyn headshot

Yakesha Llewellyn is a holistic practitioner, herbalist, sacred medicine facilitator, and apprentice midwife devoted to culturally grounded, earth-based care that supports women, families, and communities through life’s transitions, physical, emotional, and spiritual. Her work bridges ancestral healing traditions with modern clinical knowledge, informed by her midwifery apprenticeship in Jamaica and her ongoing nursing education on the path to becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).

Grounded in reproductive and social justice, Yakesha is trained as a Full-spectrum Doula. As an intuitive herbalist and medicine maker, she creates plant-based remedies that support womb wellness, nervous system regulation, postpartum restoration, and overall wellbeing.

Her offerings include holistic education, women’s circles, breathwork-informed practices, placenta medicine preparation, Closing of the Way ceremonies, and sacred medicine spaces. She is deeply committed to continued learning alongside Indigenous medicine keepers worldwide, honoring living lineages of wisdom, reciprocity, and care.

Her work is guided by humility, reverence for the body and the land, and a belief that healing is a cyclical, communal process rooted in ancestral remembrance and embodied care.
